Astronomy in the Park
Starting soon in a Park near you!

What is it?
Star-Nite Astronomy will soon begin hosting “Astronomy in the Park” sessions. Groups will meet once a month (every 5 weeks) to learn about the objects in the night sky: stars, planets, nebula, galaxies, and more. Sessions will generally last between one to two hours. The best part is, Star-Nite provides the telescopes and everything else you need!
Where does it meet?
Astronomy in the Park will meet in Lakeway, Dripping Springs, Georgetown, and Leander/Liberty Hill. Light pollution levels will determine what objects are visible. Once a month, a dark-sky session will held for those that wish to venture out further from Austin.
What does it cost?
Cost is $15 per participant age 10 and up. Below 10 may attend free with a paying parent. Participants under 16 must have a parent present to participate.
