About Me

I’m Andrew Morris, a long-time science teacher who one day got the urge to collect some telescopes and share what they can see. I have three amazing kids and an awesome partner. I’m doing what I love, and couldn’t ask for anything more.

I grew up and still live in Taylor, Texas. Went to Texas A&M University and majored in Education. I’ve been a teacher ever since.

That’s what makes Star-Nite different. I’m a teacher, not an astronomer, engineer, or astrophysicist.

My goal with Star-Nite is always to educate, which is why I host astronomy classes in Dripping Springs, Lakeway, and Williamson County. I want people to actually USE the telescopes, not just look through them. At AstroLab, you do!
